Harvesting Hope fundraiser will be held Sept. 30, 2020

Because all great parties end up in the kitchen, that’s where ours will start.

Even though we can’t gather in person this year, we can still eat and celebrate together. We’ve lined up some exciting entertainment and delicious food for you to cook at home along with Chef Matt Varga, prior to our 7 pm start on Wednesday, September 30. As usual, during the Harvesting Hope program you will hear how SCLT has responded to the challenges, and opportunities presented by the coronavirus to get healthy food to people who need it, plus what’s ahead – including construction plans for 404 Broad Street!

Buy tickets for Harvesting Hope

Dedicated to supporting the local food and restaurant economy, SCLT is partnering with a number of great Rhode Island businesses to build a locavore party kit, filled with all the ingredients to create a beautiful meal so we can dine together, virtually. (The main dish will offer a choice of proteins, including a vegan option, and be gluten free.)

What you can look forward to:

Musical performance by Big Lux Violin
Featured recipe designed and demonstrated by Chef Matt Varga of
Gracie’s and Ellie’s
Veggies and herbs grown by SCLT’s farming heroes
Locally sourced proteins, grains and teas
Some delicious add-ons:
Signature cocktail kits curated by Industrious Spirit Company
Select wines and beers from our friends at Bottles Fine Wine

Details:

• Kits will serve 1, two or four diners (quantity is limited, so don’t wait until the last minute to order!)
• Pick up your locavore party kits on Tues., Sept. 29, between 10 am and 8 pm at Bottles in Providence (home delivery available on a limited basis).
• Want to join us but skip the cooking part? Tickets without party kits will be available.
