Providence Summer Youth Employment Program
Southside Community Land Trust’s Providence Summer Youth Employment Program seeks Providence residents aged 14-24 to participate in a paid, 6-week program that provides youth with engaging work-based learning activities that span the food system. Youth Employment Program participants acquire agricultural and culinary skills, learn about nutrition and health outcomes, and gain exposure in community outreach, climate change resilience, and food systems development and sustainability.

The position is the co-lead staff member responsible for coordinating the SCLT Aggregation Program. In addition, the position provides support for Community Food Access Programs and other Farmer Services as well as Farmer Training initiatives. The position also supports some on-farm production at SCLT farms.
