Josselyn joined SCLT in April, 2021. She identifies as a proud DACA recipient, born in Guatemala and raised in Los Angeles, who has called RI home since 2000. She brings over 20 years of community-based experience including family literacy, ESOL, and women’s leadership development. Most notably, Josselyn developed the Domestic Violence Prevention program at Homeboy Industries, an LA-based organization dedicated to re-entry services for formerly incarcerated men and women. In Providence, prior to joining SCLT she served as the Workforce & Education Specialist at Providence Housing Authority.

Josselyn is actively pursuing a degree in Public Policy. In her spare time, she is often found in the company of her partner, their child, and two rambunctious dogs.
