Join fellow farmers, community gardeners, and SCLT members to launch the 2026 growing season at our urban agriculture hub! The Urban Agriculture Kick Off offers hands-on learning, expert advice, and resources to help you make this your most successful growing season yet.

Workshops include:

Dividing native perennials | Drip irrigation systems | Growing herbs indoors | Soil health fundamentals

Resources & activities:

Ask-the-Expert tables with SCLT staff | Free seeds and seed starting demonstrations with Providence Seed Library | Northern RI Conservation District information table | Kids activities | Community partner organizations | Building tours of 404 Broad Street | SCLT membership sign-up

SCLT Members: Bulk compost pick-up available on-site! Bring your own containers to load up.
