401Gives 2026

Join SCLT for Rhode Island’s statewide giving event! From 6:00 AM on March 31 through 6:00 PM on April 1, nonprofits across the state are coming together to raise critical funds for their work, and we need your support.

This year, your donation will support our farmers and youth as we reach a major milestone: construction is underway on our second food hub at Urban Edge Farm in Cranston. This 4,000 square foot facility will serve 150+ local farmers with modern processing, storage, and distribution infrastructure that most could never afford on their own. Our aggregation program has grown significantly, and we’ve maxed out capacity at our Providence food hub. This expansion will help farmers increase production, improve product quality, and access better markets.

Your gift also supports our Youth Workforce Development program, where 50 emerging adults gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, develop community leadership skills, and learn environmental stewardship through meaningful work.
