As the growing season winds down,* spend one more Sunday afternoon at the farm!

Join us Sunday, Sept. 27, from 1 to 3 pm at The Good Earth Farm & Garden Center, 1800 Scituate Ave in Cranston, to explore this lush 30-acre property. It was formerly owned by the Knight family and includes a historic barn built in the 1700s. Nine farmers now grow here, and the land is managed by SCLT.

All are welcome to tour the fields and greenhouses with Phillip and Vue Yang and learn about the unusual crops they grow. Catch up with John and Joyce Holsher, the second farmers to manage the land using organic practices, who live on the property. Then visit Christina Dedora of Sanctuary Herbs of Providence for a tea tasting with free herby treats, and browse the hand-crafted gifts. Before you leave, take home some super-fresh produce from the newly renovated farmstand.

Tickets are $15 per person and kids 12 and under get in free.

Your attendance supports local farms and farmers!

*Keep visiting your favorite outdoor farmers markets through the end of October!
