DUE TO WEATHER, URBAN AGRICULTURE KICK-OFF WILL START AN HOUR LATER TODAY, AT NOON. WE’LL BE SETTING UP BEFORE THEN, AND BEGIN AS SOON AS THE RAIN OR DRIZZLE STOPS. SEE YOU SOON!

This start-of-the-growing-season event features experts who can answer questions about organic growing and advise you how to maximize your yield from small urban plots, backyard gardens and containers. The event runs from 11 am to 1 pm. Rain date is 4/14.

Get your free organic and heirloom vegetable, herb and flower seeds, plus low-cost organic fertilizer. SCLT members and anyone who joins or renews at UAKO can bring home 50 gallons of high-quality compost (just show your membership card).

UAKO takes place at four community gardens in our Providence network. For locations, time and other info, go to our Urban Ag Kick-off page.
