The Harvest Society:

Enduring Commitments, Sustaining Investments

Through the Southside Community Land Trust's Harvest Society, donors join together to pledge their sustaining support for our mission to help people grow food.

The Harvest Society pledge is simple but powerful: a minimum gift of $1,000 or more for five years. As a Harvest Society member, your contribution will go to our unrestricted operating funds. This helps take away some of the uncertainty from SCLT's day-to-day needs, keeping innovation and adaptation at the forefront.

And participation in the Harvest Society comes with benefits!

  • Invitation to special Harvest Society events where you will meet others committed to urban agriculture and making Providence and Rhode Island a better place to live and grow;
  • Advance communications about new awards and achievements, as well as SCLT's vision for the future;
  • Option to include SCLT membership as part of your pledge. (Membership offers early admittance and 10% off at the annual Plant Sale, discounts at over a dozen small businesses, plus free food-growing workshops and resources);
  • Knowledge that you are investing in SCLT's long-term sustainability.

Harvest Society Giving Levels include:

  • Harvesting Hope - $10,000 a year for 5 years
  • Cultivating Hope - $5,000 a year for 5 years
  • Planting Hope - $1,000 a year for 5 years

Pledges may be paid in annual, quarterly and even monthly installments via check or recurring credit card payments.

Imagine, for as little as $83 a month (less than the cost of your phone bill), you can be a major investor in the future of urban agriculture in Providence.
